Business/Systems Analyst

Description

Description Identifies business requirements for new/revised automated systems.Conducts internal and external specification reviews for functionality.Develops and writes test plans specifications to incorporate all design features for new products, enhancements to existing systems due to legal changes or system upgrades.Researches system problems, documents and communicates findings.Evaluates and makes recommendations from a business perspective, the feasibility of designing/revising new or existing computer systems.May participate in developing unit objectives to align with overall business plan.Provide technical support for our learning management systems & elearning development applicationsConsult with business on learning technology selection and application to meet business needsAssist business with selection of third party elearning content vendorsFacilitate SCORM and AICC integration and publishing of webbased content into the content management systems.Technical build out of online tests and essay testsProvide enterprise content release management and governance of online learning contentSupport system testing production issues, software releases (bug fixes, security patches, etc.)Manage system updates and enhancementsQualifications Three plus years of experience in learning technology.Specifically with Learning Management Systems and elearning authoring/development applications.Possess a strong understanding of web usability and user interface best practicesProficient with SCORM/AICC application and integration guidelinesExperience supporting an integrated system structure (e.g., SAP)Familiar with adult learning theories and online content development practicesProficient in SAP/Geo Learning Content Management applicationsAbility to develop strong, credible relationships with clientsEffective organizational, interpersonal and communication skillsOperates independently and with a sense of urgencyAbility to work in a fast paced environment with changing prioritiesTechnically savvy with ability to quickly learn new applicationsAbility to translate technical jargon into business termsVendor management skills Critical Competencies of SuccessDemonstrated ability to apply systems thinking, developing a process based approachCreative problem solverAbility to successfully achieve results working independently and with othersExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong communication skillsDemonstrated ability to build trust and work collaborativelyDemonstrated ability to build credibility quickly
