Web & Middleware Engineer ( Weblogic Administrator)

Description

MUST have worked on deploying and managing/administering Weblogic (8.x/ 9.x/ 10.x) based applications or Oracle Application Servers (Oracle 10g AS) or Apache or Tomcat or JBOSS MUST have experience engineering and supporting large scale shared application server farms MUST have strong UNIX/ Perl scripting skills and MUST have automated deployment tasks in Sun Solaris 9,10, and Linux Should have worked with LDAP, SSO, CSS/GSS Load Balancing MUST ensure the configuration is setup correctly for Identity and Access Management applications to work correctly on the application servers. It must be noted that the Wen Engineering team is not directly responsible for managing I&AM infrastructure. MUST have the ability to troubleshoot application performance and other deployment related issues in the deployed environment MUST have good SQL tuning capabilities Should have worked with J2EE with Servlets, EJB, Struts, Hibernate, XML, Web Services long enough to be able to effectively communicate with the development team and be effective in understanding any technical issues escalated by the development team Should be skilled and experienced enough to research and learn on own initiative Ability to research and evolve engineering methodologies for new hardware/software web platforms Familiar with SOX compliance and FDA regulatory practices
