Job Description The Equity Trading team is seeking a senior software engineer to be an integral member of the development team responsible for enhancing and evolving the applications used by the Equity Trading business group at Wellington.Job Responsibilities As a senior member of this team, the individual will have the following responsibilities Technical design, implementation, deployment, and support of applications within the Equity Trading suite of applications Partner with Business Analysts to review and implement business requirements Job Qualifications The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and proven ability to design and deliver solutions relevant to complex business problems. Specific requirements include 5+ years in systems development using Delphi, Object Pascal (EurekaLog, DevExpress, XML Partner, Indy Internet Direct, ODBC, Direct Oracle Access)3+ years experience with Oracle, PL/SQL database programmingExperience with Java, .NET and Linux is a plusExperience developing highperformance trading and/or transactional applicationsStrong analysis, design and modeling skills Strong knowledge of Oracle database and PL/SQL Strong motivation and ability to work in a fastpaced, teamoriented environment supporting a businesscritical production environment Knowledge of software development and testing methodologies and their effective applicationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsComputer Science degree or related field
