Description
Assist in managing the technology needs of a business group/function, including related applications to support Enterprise Content Management at Calpine.2. Must possess excellent conceptual knowledge of applications supporting such business activities (e.g. document capture, workflow, search/retrieval, etc.).3. Design and develop major/minor enhancements in support of business group/function, including any 3rd. party customers where appropriate.4. Assists in communicating major/minor enhancements, bugfixes and coordinating with other support personnel to ensure seamless rollout of new functionality to internal and 3rd. party customers.1. Bachelors degree in MIS, Business Administration, other technical discipline or equivalent experience. 2. Minimum five (5) years related experience in a fastpaced information technology environment with at least three (3) year in a leadership role developing and implementing IS/IT solutions.3. Must have a minimum of five (5) years of relevant business knowledge and experience supporting Documentum and related business applications.4. Experience in Documentum or other equivalent enterprise content management software including document capture and workflow solutions5. Understanding of document/content management and workflow concepts6. Experience configuring/performance tuning application servers, preferably Weblogic. 7. J2EE development skills using MVC framework and STRUTS experience8. Good documentation/written skills covering both functional and technical documents9. Experience with PVCS/CVS or other source control software10. Experience developing batch jobs/applications11. Good debugging and problem analysis/resolution skills12. Experience in all aspects of System Development Life Cycle13. Experience supporting endusers14. UNIX and Windows OS15. Experience using automated testing tools such as Mercury, Serena16. Application server clustering and administration17. Experience in training end users18. Project management skills and experience a big plus.19. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate and interact confidently with individuals at all levels; must be dedicated to a high degree of customer service with the ability to work well in a team environment.20. Ability to work well in a fastpaced environment, and perform well under extreme time constraints and demands during emergency conditions.21. Ability to effectively express technical concepts to nontechnical personnel.22. May require quick access via cell phone or pager in addition to responses to after hours service interruptions.23. Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with clients, supervisors, coworkers, staff, vendors, executive management and other constituents.24. Occasional travel to client sites and other company locations.25. Experience with Sharepoint for corporate collaboration, workflow, and document management applications
