Description

This role Responsible for architecture, design, implementation and daytoday support of Tivoli License Compliance Manager, Tivoli Application Dependency and Discovery Mapper, and Maximo to support internal asset, configuration, change, service request, incident, and license management processes.Provides primary support for TLCM, TADDM, and Maximo systems management toolsPrimary Deliverables includeProvides primary engineering and administration support for TLCM, TADDM and Maximo solutions, including participation on a 24 x 7 oncall rotation and incident ticket management.Install, configure, maintain and support TLCM, TADDM, and Maximo productsParticipate in planning, architecture, design, and implementation of TLCM, TADDM, and Maximo systems management solutions while supporting and maintaining existing infrastructure Integrate TLCM and TADDM into Maximo in support of license, asset, and configuration management. Document the operational functionality of TLCM, TADDM, and Maximo, including disaster recovery, product patching, general support and integrations. Provide reports on license and capacity usage for TLCM, Maximo and TADDMAssists in areas of disaster recovery, technical walkthrough, documentation and standards. Performs problem diagnosis and resolution, determining root cause and actions to be taken to restore service. Designs, develops and/or customizes system components to achieve specific objectives within a project. Performs upgrades in an orderly fashion with minimal impact to end users.Deploys Incident and Problem Management process into Maximo.Configure and customize Incident, Problem, Asset, Service Request and Change management within the Maximo toolsetDeploy and configure CCMDBRequested RoleSystem Engineer Skills RequiredThe ideal candidate has the following experience and skills BS in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.4+ years handson experience with security based systems management tool suites and technologies2+ years experience specific to Tivoli License Compliance Manager, Tivoli Application Discover and Dependency Mapper, Maximo and CCMBD, which includes implementation, deployment and upgrade maintenanceTechnical certification a definite plusMust be familiar with ITIL processes2+ years scripting experience using Perl, VBS, batch, Unix shell, or other languageMust be proficient in Windows and UNIX operating system and product internals, advanced debugging, software integration. Previous experience as server administrator a definite plus.Solid understanding of enterprise server security technologies, networking & security protocols, authentication schemes and technologies, operating systems, Active Directory, and proven implementation and troubleshooting ability utilizing multiple technologies (network, server, database).Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, staff and employees.Ability to work independently with little or no supervision. Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and be accountable for project deadlines.
