The Lead will Formulate/define system scope and objectivesDevise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired resultsPrepare detailed specifications from which programs will be writtenDesign, code, test, debug and document those programsBe competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of application developmentBe responsible for completion of a phase of a projectProvide guidance and training to analysts/programmersQualifications BS or higher degree in MIS, CS, or related degree, required3+ years as a lead developer on HP NonStop8+ years as a software developer on a HP NonStop Excellent COBOL programming skills Database experience using Enscribe and SQL file structures and TMFStrong debugging skills and excellent problem solving skillsExcellent organization skillsMust have solid communication skills both verbal and written. Verbal skills must be very strong.Good discovery skills, the ability to work both independently and within a team and with clientsWorking knowledge of UC4 and GoldenGate Knowledge of CONTROL source control
