Software Test Engineer

Description

Senior software test engineer to join the Software and System QA team. This team is responsible for qualifying the first generation of Virtensys stateoftheart virtualization solution switches. The ideal candidate is a selfstarter who is motivated and ambitious about providing high quality QA support. Required A minimum of 5+ years cumulative experience in engineering quality assurance, test execution and troubleshooting system level software and hardware in Linux, VmWare and Windows environment. Good understanding of Linux and Windows device drivers is preferred. Skilled in system integration, performance verification, debugging, resolving issues, verbal communication, test report, data base and server blade concept. Networking technologies and test tools TCP/IP Protocol and Network Architectures, network storage, fiber channel, Virtualization products, packet sniffer / analyzer, network traffic generators, testing GUI, BMC, SNMP, IPMI, CIM . Possesses strong technical and programming skills to develop automation infrastructure and test harnesses using Perl, bash and Expect. Extensive background in QA methodologies and experience developing and executing comprehensive test suites in Linux or Windows Platform. Experience working with networking and storage technologies is required. We are looking for a selfmotivated team player to work in a fast paced, dynamic startup environment
