Java Developer

Description

The Tennessee Department of Revenue needs two new programmer analyst III consultants for Java development. These ITPro contractors will be working on the Title and Registration Users System for Tennessee (TRUST). TRUST is a reengineering project initiated to eliminate problems associated with the State's legacy Title and Registration system, in response to concerns from the public, county clerks, vehicle dealers, lending institutions and insurance companies. It has been in development for several years and is in phase five of six total phases. TRUST is scheduled to go live in 2010. These contractors will work in development of the Title and Registration Users System for Tennessee (TRUST) as programmer analysts III, developing and testing the Java User Interface and Java Service Layer. The people in these two positions will work on programs for the TRUST Java User Interface (including user test code), will make problem report fixes, will document Java code and will work with the deployment manager to put Java files for the build into the deployment server. One of the two will focus her or his work on administrative screens, while the other will focus on bug fixes and new functionality.
