BI Developer (Qlikview experience)

Description

Duties The Principal BI Developerfor eBIO will report to the Director of Analytics at eBIO and be responsible for the definition and implementation of eCommerces worldwide BI Administration, development and Project Release Management for eBIO. Specifically, it requires managing a complex BI environments, ensuring reliable performance and availability in a 24x7 environment for a worldwide community. Success in this role will result in the Principal BI Developer for eBIO leading administration, development and release management for the entire BI platform for eCommerce globally. Design, develop and implement Business Intelligence (BI) reports to measure the efficiency of eCommerce globally Maintaining, improving and implementing Security Layer definition to ensure SOX requirements and security based in different roles for operational and analytical BI Observing Project Lifecycle and performing object migration across different environments (DEV/QA/PROD) Participating in design and code reviews Leading small teams of developers/contractors nearshore and offshore as required Fine tuning reporting queries and report implementation to ensure that the BI/RDBMS Servers are not impacted adversely Championing process improvements within BI in CS Global Reporting and throughout the sphere of influence in Core BI to gain efficiencies in daily, weekly, quarterly processes. Defining and maintaining Business Continuity plans for BI platform for eBIO Working in a distributed global team environment across US, Europe and Asia Pacific Must be a proven top performer and team player that enjoy challenging assignments in a highenergy and fast growing workplace. 4+ years experience in data warehousing, business intelligence, or software development Proven experience building and managing highperforming BI Environments in Business Objects and other BI tools and maintaining demanding release management processes via custom applications and tool driven utilities Experience as technical lead on large BI projects in a complex environment Understanding of application architectures utilizing portal technologies, JSP/ASP, third party software APIs, LDAP integration, SDKs, etc. Deep understanding of RDBMs and Data Modeling Techniques Experience with HTML, DHTML, XML, XSL, and JavaScript technologies. Experience with Microsoft and Unix Operating Systems Desktops and Servers Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly present complex technical topics to technical and nontechnical audiences and feel at ease with executive management as well as technical developers. Detail oriented with superior analytical, problem solving, pragmatism and organization skills. Knowledge of other BI Tools like Oracle Applications is a plus
