Microsoft Systems Administrator

Description

RESPONSIBILITIES Assisting the project team and L&I administrators with installation, configuration and deployment of all servers for the project, including maintenance of the servers and operating systems Liaison with the L&IOIT admin team for application installations Monitoring systems for performance, capacity, availability and event management, including providing input to architectural teams Diagnose, research and resolve hardware/software problems with server hardware/software and, if necessary, interface with vendor support staff to resolve the problem and implement the solution REQUIRED SKILLS Minimum of three (3) years of experience with using Microsoft Windows Server 2003EE or later. Current experience with Windows Server 2018 EE preferred Minimum of three (3) years of experience with implementing, configuring, managing, tuning and troubleshooting Internet Information Server (IIS) version 6. Current knowledge and experience with IIS v7 preferred Formal Microsoft Windows Server training (instructor based training preferred) Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA) or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) credential preferred Strong and demonstrated proficiency in server technologies Strong and demonstrated proficiency in systems administration for large scale Windows servers projects or deployments
