ABSDeal Analytics Operations Support

Description

Require a contractor to fill the position of 24x7 Operations Support for CAP Financial Reporting applications. The primary responsibility will be to provide shift support during the 9Day Month End processing. Outside of Month End, the contractor is expected to support the GAGO Development/Test teams, maintain and resolve Infrastructure issues, develop and maintain Operational scripts /software as needed. Other Requirements Carry a pager and respond to it in a timely manner. Provide offhour support as needed. Strong UNIX knowledge. Experience in Linux/Solaris/AIX. Working experience in UNIX shell and Perl scripting. Knowledge of web services. HTTP, XML, Apache, JBoss, and Weblogic is a plus. Knowledge of ETL products. AbInitio is a plus. Sufficient knowledge of SQL commands. Experience in system monitoring tools. Develop and follow up Standard Operational Procedures. Well developed written and verbal communication skills. A team player. Need to work closely with other team members. Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems or 6 years + of IT related working experience. Working knowledge in Oracle database and applications. Experience in system monitoring tools. Experience in creating automation tools. C++, Java, UI development Experience in workflow/business process management products is a plus. Trouble ticket system, like Remedy.
