Description
The Development Manager maintains and continuously improves the application development team for the Employers Solutions Group. They alsensure the team is mentored in leadership and development techniques, and ensures the team creates quality, unit tested code in a timely manner according tTake Care standards. The Development Manager must be able testimate project work, review and challenge estimates of their team, and then take ownership of the project timelines and progress reporting.The Development Manager will use Microsoft Visual Studiand development platforms like; SQL Server, SharePoint, BizTalk and Team Foundation System for development and Microsoft Project for project planning, tracking and reporting. They must be able tlead multiple projects with their priorities based on delivery dates and meet or exceed the goals. They must be comfortable pushing the team tmeet dates with quality products, and must be comfortable rewarding high performers and holding accountable low performers. Essential Job FunctionsDuties and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited tthe building and maintenance of a professional development team.
