Description
Knowledge of HIPAA 5010, Medicare billing, HL7 messaging and ICD10 coding required. Current understanding of information systems compliance with HIPAA required. Knowledge of managed care, EMR, HIM and electronic claims processing strongly desired. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in healthcare systems and can demonstrate handson experience with enterprisescale systems. Candidates should be able to demonstrate adaptability, an ability to manage executivelevel customer expectations, and solid organizational and project management skills. Excellent written and oral communications skills are a must.The ideal candidate will also demonstrate a broad background involving compliancedriven remediation in a diverse, multiplatform integrated systems environment. They should be comfortable working on mission critical projects in complex environments with competing priorities. They should have a thorough understanding of the legal and financial consequences of noncompliance for the organization. They should demonstrate an ability to rapidly comprehend the dynamics of a large healthcare organization.
