Description
The New York State Medicaid Program is administered by the Department of Health (DOH), Office of Health Insurance Programs (OHIP)The equivalent of four (4) or more years of full time experience with Oracles version of SQL (Structured Query Language) and PL/SQL (Procedural Language/SQL), Plus, and SQL WorksheetThe equivalent of three (3) or more years of fulltime experience in a project involving databases of health care claims and/or health care eligibility data and/or other highly confidential data in a government agency or a company involved in the administration, implementation or operation of a health care program, such as Medicaid, Medicare or a third party health insurance companyThe equivalent of two (2) or more years full time experience with Oracles databases in the multiterabyte range. (These two years can be used as part of the 4 year requirement listed in the first bullet above)Desirable Skill/ExpertiseExperience with multiterabyte Oracle databases and the special challenges they poseExperience with clientspecific confidential data, especially experience in an environment in which HIPAA requirements must be metExperience with medical claims, especially Medicaid claimsExperience working closely with staff of various levels of computer literacy
