Description

General Description Emerging Heath Information Technology seeks a Sr. Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of several complex moderate to large size projects through all of the defined phases of the project life cycle. This includes implementations of new clinical and business applications, system upgrades, application rollouts, and infrastructure and networking projects. The Sr. Project Manager reports to an Asst. Director on the Project Delivery Services team and interacts with the Project Office, Client Executives, Product Managers and customers. He/She manages a cross functional team of product experts and associates while they are assigned to a project. External consultants, contracted resources, and customer employees may also report in to project teams during the project lifecycle. The Senior Project Manager has management responsibility for one or more Project Managers and oversees the projects for which they are responsible. The Senior Project Manager is responsible to mentor and coach less experienced team members. The Project Manager provides outstanding client service and contributes to the organizations mission of utilizing information technology to improve patient care. Responsibilities include Develop and maintain the project work plan based on information from Product Managers Coordinate the deliverable and project specific activities performed by crossfunctional project teams Work to control change, adjust the budget, timeline, and project scope to accommodate approved changes Identify and escalate project risks and issues Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all key internal stakeholders including Customer Executives, Product Managers and Resource ManagerManages all resources assigned to projects to achieve project goals and satisfy cutomersDevelop customer Return on Investment metrics for projects, based on customer objectives.Coordinates the provision of implementation strategies and detailed estimates to support new sales campaigns
