Description

Responsible for systems analysts and application development activities through direct and indirect staff. Directs development teams in the areas of scheduling, technical direction, future planning, and standard development practices. Meets scheduled milestones to ensure project objectives are met in a timely manner.Possesses indepth knowledge of principals, theories, practices, and techniques for managing activities related to planning, managing and implementing systems analysis and applications development projects.Manages multiple large, complex projects with greater impact on the enterprise.Excels at delivering projects on time and within budget, meeting high quality standards and customer expectations.Excels at analyzing business unit technology needs, dissecting the most complex problems and suggesting process oriented solutions.Serves as SME in all aspects of project management methodology and tools, as well as resource management practices and change management techniques.Excellent ability to track and monitor project execution, regularly updating project plans and status reports.Actively identifies any issues or risks associated with a project, escalating them and possibly implementing mitigation strategies for risk prevention and timely resolution.Leads interdepartmental or interdivisional operational project initiatives. Serves as initial point of escalation for all project management issues.
