Description
This position requires skill in production support, as follows Carries a pager and responds to production requests, escalating unresolved issues as needed to proper personnel. Provides seniorlevel enduser support, which may include providing systems administration assistance, coordinating stakeholder discussions, updating user documentation or conducting training. The primary focus of this position is 2tier production support of Securities Accounting applications. Mortgage industry of experience preferred Fannie Mae production support experience preferred Experience with Remedy, ClearQuest, and Mercury Quality Center an asset Experience supporting Sybase & Oracle (MANDATORY) databases Can work in both UNIX and Windows environments Autosys scheduling and job management Strong followthrough, initiative to stay with issues until they are resolved, along with discipline and tenacity to meet deadlines. Ability to multitask and provide support to production users and multiple development teams across concurrent project tasks. Excellent teamwork and communication skills, along with good customer focus. Java, J2EE, and Crystal Reports experience an asset We need a candidate that has a strong production support AND development background. Candidate will be coding throughout project so we want to make sure that they have a strong developer background as wellExperience with Sybase and Oracle is REQUIRED. Position duration will be at least 6 months.
