Web Architect

Description

Expertise in various Web technologies, including J2EE Application Servers, , Web Services, Java, JavaScript, HTML, SSL, C/C++, Perl, CGI, , security (firewalls/encryption products), Web Servers, browsers, and various third party utilities and tools for integrating Web applications with databases and legacy systems.Indepth knowledge of at least one industryleading database environment, such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, and Sybase is required. Knowledge of multidimensional or object oriented DBMS is highly desirable. Must have ability to analyze and learn rapidly changing Webrelated technologies and apply them as part of integrated solutions to business requirements, as well as work experience in the software development process including requirements gathering and analysis, design, selection of tools and technologies, release and version control, testing methodologies and deployment management. May require a Bachelors degree in a related area and 13 years of experience in the field or related area. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a project leader or manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF WEBSPHERE PORTAL 6.x AND VIGNETTE CONTENT MANAGEMENT V7 IS HIGHLY PREFERRED
