Java Developer with Alfresco

Project Description HLT group has 3 main applications that they develop and maintain, all tied to their corporate owned and franchised hotels. One is a CRM application that manages the franchise hotel sales, the other is a project management application that is used to develop project plans for newly built hotels and the third is an application that houses all hotel specific information that is eventually forwarded to Expedia for marketing purposes. The team implemented Alfresco for some sites last year that they are doing administration on. Additionally, they are in the process of implementing alfresco for various other sites. There is only 1 Alfresco person on the team and they are need to add an additional resource to help supplement the project work load. Person will work closely with team member to do either Administration of Alfresco on existing sites or new development of Alfresco on new sites (or both), depending on their skill level. Enterprise content management for documents, web, records, images, and collaborative content development. Alfresco comes in two flavours[2]. Alfresco Community Edition is free software, GPL licensed open source and open standards. Alfresco Enterprise Edition is commercially / proprietary licensed open source, open standards and enterprise scale. Its design is geared towards users who require a high degree of scalable performance. Alfresco includes a content repository, an outofthebox web portal framework for managing and using standard portal content, a CIFS interface that provides file system compatibility on Microsoft Windows and Unixlike operating systems, a web content management system capable of virtualizing webapps and static sites via Apache Tomcat, Lucene indexing, and jBPM workflow. The Alfresco system is developed using Java technology
