Dollar Thrifty will be upgrading to JD Edwards Version 9.0 and installing the new Tools Release. Dollar Thrifty is facing issues and risks by running JD Edwards Version 8.10, Tools Release 8.94Oracle ended support for JD Edwards version 8.10DTAG will not be able to print 1099s for 2010DTAG is on an unsupported Tools Release version (8.94)DTAG is tied to an unsupported OS and outdated Data Base due to JDE Tools releaseDTAG is forced to grant admin rights to users with Full Client installed After this Assessment is completed Dollar Thrifty will Understand cost required to perform the JDE upgrade Have a decustomization strategy to utilize during the upgrade Have a view into an upgrade strategy including a base and options Understand gaps in the technology infrastructure from current state to new Version Roles Project Lead Lead the overall Upgrade Assessment Manage and direct other EDS resources as appropriate Act as primary engagement contact for DTAG 4 JD Edwards Functional SME(G/L, AR, AP, Fixed Assets)and(Procurement, SOP ) Conduct all business analysis Conduct research, map key processes, analyze results HP JD Edwards CNC Resource \ Technical Architect Work with DTAG technology resources to understand and evaluate current IT architectures, capabilities, and direction Identify specific technology requirements for the upgrade HP JDE Subject Matter Experts Provide specific subject matter expertise related to findings of Assessment team
