SQL Server Developer (SSIS and SSRS)

Description

Long Term Care Group needs a Programmer Ananyst III for a 7 month assignment starting 12/15/09. The requirement description isTechnicalCreate SQL Server stored procedures, functions, views, and tables to build ETL feeds.Create SSIS packages and SSRS reports that use the above to output text, Excel, and PDF files.Create and modify Access VBAheavy databases to output Snapshot or PDF files.Perform and review unit tests, code reviews, and deployments. Propose standards and best practices in all technical areas. Perform analysis of software or programming languages for suitability to needs. Project ManagementPerform requirements gathering, requirements analysis, and risk assessment. Create design documentation for all development work.AnalyticalPerform system analysis in order to determine most effective design strategy. Troubleshoot issues that arise during the lifecycle of a project and escalate as appropriate.Actively participate in process improvement discussions.Personal SkillsCommunicate clearly with all internal groups relating to assigned Data Services work Business Analysts, Project Managers, Account Managers, Quality Assistance, DBA's, Feed Transport, Computer Ops, and Account Managers.Demonstrate leadership with all areas relating to Data Services projects and processes.Demonstrate entrepreneurial skills within internal groups for process improvement. Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills at the manager and developer level. Works under minimal supervision and has wide latitude for independent judgment.Personal DevelopmentMentor other developers in all aspects of technical, project management, analytics, and job performance to improve their skills.ManagementFunction as a project lead over other developers on larger projects. Education and ExperienceUndergraduate degree in business administration, computer science/software engineering, or equivalent work experience.5+ years of Microsoft programming experience to include TSQL and Access VBA.
