Job Description The responsibilities include leading an Information Discovery and Delivery team in designing, developing, and maintaining Universes, reports, dashboards, and analytics for the NetJets Business Intelligence project. This position also requires training and mentoring for NetJets team members and customers.Roles and Responsibilities Collaborate with customers and requirements team/analysts to visualize and design reports, dashboards, and analytics Collaborate with ETL lead/developers to develop data marts, dimensional models, and OLAP cubes for reporting Design, develop, and test standard and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and analytics Lead and support core Universe and Reporting development team Mentor and support offshore report development team with report development Participate in the complete development lifecycle, including analysis, design, build, and test Participate in the complete testing cycle, including regression testing, performance testing, and bug fixes Assist with developing, implementing, and continuously updating best practices and standards as they relate to reporting and analytics in the business intelligence environment Essential Qualifications Bachelor's DegreeCourse of study/major Information Systems or Computer ScienceRelated work experience 46 yearsBachelors Degree in computer science, MIS, Statistics, or equivalent experience Personal qualities innovation, resourcefulness, tenacity, independence, energy, and selfconfidence Experience in data warehousing and business intelligence High proficiency in understanding relational and dimensional data models Proficiency in SQL including the use of SQL editors, stored procedures, database triggers and optimizing SQL statements Experience with Oracle 9i or higher Broad understanding of reporting technologies, including reporting suite management, report visualization, design and development, dashboard visualization , design and development, and analytical modeling, design and development Experience in tuning/caching reports, and service configuration Minimum two years knowledge of and experience with Business Objects toolsets, including Universe Designer, Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, and Crystal Xcelsius, as a designer and developer Experience with Business Objects Enterprise XI 3.0 Strong strategic skills, the ability to lead in the adoption of reporting, dashboard, and analytics technologies and toolsets, standards and best practices Proven tactical skills, the ability to move tactical decisions towards strategic initiatives Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team Ability to collaborate effectively with a broad base of business and technology associates Ability to work effectively with a broad range of internal and external customers Ability to handle difficult situations; work as a team to resolve issues and to help firefight during crisis situations Willingness and ability to mentor and train NetJets team member to assume Reporting Lead position when ready Excellent written and oral communication skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously Demonstrated ability with Microsoft desktop tools, including Word, Visio, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook Ability to travel as necessary Ability to work overtime as necessary
