GENTRAN, GIS Technical Lead

Description

Broad understanding of electronic commerce technologies and communications. Strong previous knowledge and experience implementing GENTRAN, GIS, or similar translation applications, data mapping and ERP applications such as SAP, Oracle and/or Peoplesoft, Windows 3.x/95/98/NT/2000/XP and SQL Server. Good knowledge and experience with Connect Direct and FTP, HTTP, SMTP, XML. Excellent analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions. Ability to read dumps and traces for the operating system and/or subsystems including MVS, VM, VSE, DEC, VMS, Tandem Guardian, MS/DOS, OS/2, AS/400, Novell Netware, Windows NT, UNIX or Comm. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation. Good project management and multitasking skills with demonstrated followthrough. Strong interpersonal/customer relations skills. Clear and concise verbal and written communications with the ability to express complex technical concepts in laymans terms both verbally and in writing. Ability to develop strategies addressing the short and longterm needs of users while being selfmotivated and working under general supervision. Ability to lead others toward accomplishing objectives. Demonstrates initiative and leadership. Computer skills should include the Microsoft Office suite of products as well as project management software. Provides technical leadership in customer implementations to ensure company standards are met. Understands customer and data flows to ensure efficient and effective systems, procedures, and processes are implemented and maintained.
