Software Release Lead

Description

Proven experience in successfully executing complex releases or programs involving multiple disciplines. Expert knowledge of Release Management, Project Management (including Agile), Build Management (including Continues Integration /CI), Deployment Management processes and related tools. Knowledge and expertise in IT process management, design and implementation.Strong leadership skills and excellent communication skills. 10+ years of IT experience related to Release Management, Deployment Management, Build Management, or Applications Development Requires a minimum bachelor's IT degree or related equivalent and over ten years of related experience. Master's degree and/or PMI and/or ITIL certification are preferred. Build / CI Tools, Testing Tools, MS Project Responsible of the Release Lead include managing multiple Enterprise Releases comprised a diverse and complex set of IT release units (deployments of multiple IT projects). Managing Enterprise Releases includes Release Planning, Fulfillment & Closeout serving as a single point of contact for the Enterprise Releases managing scope & requests of each Enterprise providing Release Management guidance to release units / project teams; including, recommending and taking actions to direct the analysis and solutions of release related issues ensuring adherence to quality standards, reviews release deliverables, and resolving issues to ensure Release goals and requirements are met on time and within scope communicating with projects & with the Release Governance to provide and exchange timely and accurate information and status successfully bringing the Enterprise Releases deployment
