Description
The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for requirements development and requirements management. Specifically, the Business Systems Analyst elicits, analyzes, validates and documents business, organizational and/or operational requirements. Solutions are not predetermined by the Business Systems Analyst, but are driven solely by the requirements of the business. The Business Systems Analyst works very closely with the Technical Project Manager(s) to assure that project plan is adhered to and scope changes are approved and documented.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES The below statements are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing of all responsibilities, duties and/or skills required. Other duties may be assigned Serve as a bridge between the project managers, development staff and the project stakeholders. Work with project stakeholders to identify, document and validate requirements. Help to scope the system, identify potential areas of automation and reengineer the underlying business process. Work with developers to translate requirements into something that they understand, and then translate developers' subsequent questions into something the stakeholders can understand. Conduct and summarize informal and formal requirements reviews as items are being developed. Translate and document client business requests into written IT baseline detailed business requirements for application development. Process and phase strategy development designed to affect change across each named process within the call center including workforce management, quality assurance, and training initiatives in line with organization expectations and center of excellence goals. Translation of new business requests (from both internal and external audiences) into formal proposal respective of call center capabilities and process capacities including drafting, creating and documenting statements of work, timeline and deliverable expectations and the expressed scopes of work.
