Description
Technical Skills Oracle System and Application Database Administrators responsible for database installation, configuration, customization, patch management, performance tuning, and user guidance in system implementation for high availability UNIX based environments. Also included will be design, implementation, and monitoring of backup processes, and application troubleshooting and field support,Required Qualifications Detailed knowledge with Oracle 9i, 10g and Oracle RAC Detailed knowledge with Database backup/recovery utilities Detailed knowledge with Oracle in a Veritas HA Cluster Detailed knowledge with Oracle DataGuard Detailed knowledge with Oracle/DB configuration and tuning Detailed knowledge with optimizing SQL queries Familiarity with Solaris Operating Systems Familiarity with current SUN Enterprise class server products.
