Solaris / Red Hat Administrator

Responsibilities Must be able to work in a team environment managing 800+ servers across different and remote locations Scripting automated tasks in a nix shell or perl environment Able to manage multiple tasks/projects at once Able to adapt to rapidly changing environments Quickly troubleshoot issues and drive towards resolution Patching and updating servers and application servers Requirements Candidate must have 5 years experience in managing Solaris and Red Hat Linux servers in an enterprise environment. Solaris administrators should have experience with Solaris 9 and 10, Linux Administrators will be familiar with Red Hat Linux running a LAMP stack, with experience managing the different components of the stack. Linux environments would be both standalone and in Windows VMWare or Xen. Applications servers (JBoss, Tomcat) Web Servers (Apache, Sun One) Strong documentation skills and communicate well Must work well with others on the team and other groups, or individually Experience in any of the following is considered a plus LDAP Oracle Portal AIX Mac OS X Server NetBackup
