Facets Developer

Description

BCBSLA is upgrading their 3rd party claims processing application, Facets, developed by the vendor Trizetto, from version 4.5.1 to 4.7.1 in the early 3Q2010. Prior to the upgrade, they will plan and deploy a refresh (bundling of Facets patches and fixes) to the current 4.5.1 environment in April 2010. They will also perform another refresh to the new 4.7.1 version in October 2010. A Facets Project Manager is needed to plan and execute the refreshes and the upgrade. BCBSLA is running Facets on Wondows Server 2003 which will soon be upgraded to Windows 2018. They also run the Claim Check and Networx addons to Facets. The database platform is Sybase 15.0.3. The upgrade will be across 17 Facets environments. Current Production database is 500GB. Experience Needed Project Manager with experience leading and coordinating multiple major upgrades to Facets. Since 4.7.1 s still in Beta, experience upgrading from 4.3.1 to 4.5.1 is desired. Experience performing an upgrade at a Blue plan is highly desired. Candidate must also be experienced in coordinating activities across multiple groups and working with Trizetto. Must also have experience researching the impact of dependent upgrades such as the server upgrade and the database. PM will have the ability to lead a critical project for a core system for a major healthcare company. Will be exposed to the latest version of Facets and the new upgrade tools that Trizetto is developing for the upgrade.
