Description
AS400 Systems Administrator. This should be a senior person Systems Administrator for AS400 specifically. This is NOT an RPG Developer, but more of a supersenior operator / administrator type with Security Experience. Technical environment BRMS Backups, AGS Job Scheduling, and MIMIX (v.5&6) for Replication, Secure telnet, ODBC, S&A Communications. Looking more for an administrator than an operator. Candidate must have experience with the technology listed above. Must be extremely solid in communications skills. Otherwise, they will not be able to troubleshoot jobs that require extensive interaction with outside users. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are a MUST. Must be a team player, during the analysis of a problem this person will be required to work with the team to come up with the idea solution versus making individual decisions. Manager and lead in San Francisco, team seated in Rocklin (near Sacramento), CA. No opportunity for remote or telecomute work. Candidate must be onsite 100% of the time.
