Oracle PL/SQL Database Developer

Description

Job Description We need a Senior Oracle PL/SQL Database Developer who has at least 5 years experience with heavy emphasis on OLTP and Batch Processing environment. He or she must have Strong Experience in Oracle 9i or 10g and OLTP Expertise in SQL and PL/SQL development, and tuning using standard Oracle tools, Good grasp of Oracle concepts UNIX experience and very comfortable with writing shell scripts Experience in highly available (24x7) and high throughput transactional systems Experience with batch processing using Oracle external tables, bulking techniques, and partitioning Experience working and interacting with a Java development team Strong knowledge and use of development methodologies, standards, and procedures Ability to create functional requirements and technical designs from business requirements Experience with data modeling tools such as Erwin or ER/Studio. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Team player Desired skills Java development experience Understanding of Hibernate Perl scripting Top Skills 1) OLTP (Online Transaction Processing) and OLAP (Online Analytical Processing)2) Batch Processing3) Expertise in SQL and PL/SQL Development4) UNIX and writing shell scripts
