Mainframe DB2 DBA

Description

We currently have 2 positions with Lockheed Martin in Woodlawn, MD for a Sr. DB2 DBA. Process will be a phone screen then on site interview. Rates 45 depending experience. We currently looking for candidates to fill a position with a large government integrator in support of the civil sector. This work effort involves providing DB2 DBA maintenance and performance and tuning support of mainframe DB2 application databases in all environments. The candidate performing database development, migration through the application life cycle, and maintenance after the databases are in production. Additionally, the DBA will be participating in the troubleshooting of slow running applications to determine modifications to enhance performance. Direct interaction with the application teams will be required.
