Oracle Application DBA

Description

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Provide on going technical database support for Oracle ERP applications and Oracle ERP related applications such as Oracle Configurator, Clear Orbit XME, Jaros, Outerbay, Demantra, ASCP, and Kintana.Provide Oracle ERP application performance tuning.Participate in Oracle ERP storage analysis and reductions.Perform physical DBA activities.Provide incident management respond and resolve issue tickets (i.e. Autoinvoice fails, not able to close FA periods, XME downloads not happening) per SLA (Service Level Agreement).Use global standards for data base administration and change control. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, statistics, or closely related field; and 3 5 years of technical experience in Information Systems related areas.Oracle technologies knowledge and experience is required.Oracle application experience required; Oracle 10g and 11g, RAC and unix shell scripting required. Oracle R12 preferred.Excellent analytical and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and with little supervision.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to work with people in countries other than own.US citizen or green card holder (ITAR required).
