Description
AmFam is looking for someone who can do Informatica coding and ETL, but they also should have broader data mart and data warehouse design skills. They must understand dimensional modeling. This candidate will need to analyze data, help design the data model for the data mart, document the data definitions and Informatica mappings, as well as code the mappings. Required Skills 1. Extremely knowledgeable Informatica & DB2 development (Strong Informatica Mapping) 2. Extremely proficient in SQL development 3. Extremely proficient in understanding dimensional modeling 4. Extremely proficient in designing data warehouse and data marts 5. Extremely proficient in data analysis and problem solving 6. Ability to document designs and clearly communicate alternatives 7. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies 8. Understanding of the differences and similarities between Inmon and Kimball 9. Understanding of Data Warehouse CDC (ChangeDataCapture) processing and challenges 10. Demonstrated modeling skills in 3rd Normal form and dimensional techniques
