Java/J2ee Developer

Description

Senior Developer will be working directly with the Director of Loyalty in the Loyalty division of First Data, managing and maintaining the Loyalty Platform (Called Earned Loyalty Platform). Earned Loyalty platform is written in Java / J2EE using Enterprise Java Beans (EJB) on Linux / Oracle 10g database. Senior developer will be working with loyalty merchant client base (Over 2,000), gathering and documenting requirements as well as designing, developing, maintaining and reconfiguring the loyalty platform. Platform receives 1.5 Million 2 Million transactions per day. Senior Developer must have expert knowledge in developing using Java / J2EE / Enterprise Java Beans (EJB) on Linux / Oracle 10g database. Primary Duties Meet with Client Merchant Users of the Earned Loyalty Program/Platform to gather and document requirements in setting up loyalty functionality. Also, meet with internal First Data business units to consult in developing the Earned Loyalty Program/Platform. Design, Develop and Maintain the Earned Loyalty platform using in Java / J2EE / Enterprise Java Beans (EJB) on Linux / Oracle 10g database. Interact with Loyalty Director on a day to day basis and report status of requirements of projects.
