we have very similar requirements for software engineers/developers. We have at least four software engineer/developer openings, twof which should be seniorlevel engineers. Oracle iStore2. Java/J2EE/Web 2.0/web application development3. Oracle EBS applications4. PL/SQL5. SQLThe Senior Software Engineer (eCommerce) provides leadership experience in developing and supporting applications for School Specialty. Strong business process flow understanding and a strong technical background are expected. Provides significant leadership / mentorship tfellow software engineers. Works closely with the Development Manager in prioritizing and delivering quality products on time. General job duties include . Application Development / CustomizationsLead development process from technical design through deploymentReview technical designs / application code of team membersActive role in developing applicationsImprove current practices and procedures with innovative ideas and leveraging core system capabilities. Technical LeadershipProvide advice and counsel, information, and/or analysis tBT and business leadershipMake technical and/or process recommendationsMentor junior team members in design / development principlesProvide regular status updates tleadership. SupportTune applications for performance / scalabilityVerify monitoring / error handling is in place and appropriate for the applicationsProvide emergency support as required . Research / DevelopmentPrimary goal is tutilize current application functionality tthe best of its abilityResearch and present tmanagement justification of projects with respect ttechnology and business prioritiesMentor new and current BT staff on Oraclerelated tools and technologies5+ years building / enhancing eCommerce Applications3+ years working with Oracle eBusiness Suite iStore, iPayment, Marketing Online, Quoting, Oracle Content Manager and relative work experience developing applications in J2EE architectures.7+ years of work experience in relevant positionExpertise with Oracle eBusiness Suite technologies including SQL, PL/SQL, Java / JSP, JSF, OAF, XML, CSS, Oracle WorkflowStrong background developing on Unix / Linux platformsStructured systems development methodologies experienceAdherence tSOX, PCI, and other regulatory policiesAbility tlearn new tools / technologies through formal training as well as selfteachingAbility tcommunicate clearly with technical and nontechnical audiencesAbility tdirect many activities at once Keep 35 projects moving forward
