Java/J2EE Software Engineer

Description

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS Bachelors degree in Computer Science or relevant industry experience required. Three plus years J2EE object oriented development of web applications, web services, clientserver or transaction processing using Java. Additional knowledge of JSP, Struts, HTML, JavaScript and XML/XSLT is a plus. Two plus years of SQL and relational database design experience. SOA Knowledge and/or experience, with at least 1 2 practical implementations. Knowledge of networking concepts, development methodologies, java technologies, and testing methodologies as well as being proficient in quickly learning new technologies. Experience in providing innovative approaches that yield simple, practical solutions. Ability to develop fixes in response to reported software defects. Experience in writing technical design documents and participating in requirements, design and code reviews. Demonstrated experience working with confidential, sensitive, and secure information. Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills. Must be selfmotivated with the ability to accomplish tasks with minimal direction. Ability to cope under high demand situations, handle multiple priorities, projects and tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
