Business System Analyst

Description

Primary responsibilities include Development of requirements and logical designs and facilitation of IT based solutions thru extensive collaboration with business clients and IT partners Create, present or collaborate on all required artifacts and deliverables including, but not limited to Concept Description, Solution Alternative Analysis, Requirements document Produce deliverables based on needs of multiple downstream consumers with varying levels of required detail Provide IT subject matter expertise and project support through the entire project development life cycle across multiple membership system platformsCandidate must have the following 7 years of IT and 23 years of healthcare IT experience 3 years of experience in the Health Plan IT service areas Analyst skills, gathering and writing requirements, working on logical solutionsDesirable skills/experience include Big 4 consulting experience Ability to work with technical engineers and vendors Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work on multiple parallel tracks. Experience with large implementations and problem resolution Understanding of Medicare insurance, specifically Risk and Cost plans Understanding health care membership/CMS terminology (e.g., TRR, LEP, LIS, etc.); Understanding government health care regulations, specifically Medicare Modernization Act (MMA) of 2003;
