ResponsibilitiesDevelop the Java backend to the monitoring application with a focus on high performance and minimal impact on underlying systemUnderstand the underlying architecture to be monitored and provide insight into information provided by all systemsParticipate in product design and architectural discussionsWrite unit tests to ensure developed code meet product requirementsProvide support to the QA and support organizationsProvide feedback and guidance to technical writersDevelop appropriate documentation for architectural, design, implementation and test activities. Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field of study)Minimum of 6 years experience developing Java applications with a focus on multithreaded and high performance developmentExperience doing software development in a structured, automated, and distributed development environment including design, development, QA, and documentation.Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts concisely to nontechnical members of the team.Experience with the following JMS Tibco EMS, Active MQDatabases Oracle and MySQLChange Data Capture Golden GateExperience with the following is a plus FlexBlazeDS
