JD Edwards Project Manager

Description

Support the upgrade of JD Edwards upgrade to 9.x version Act as the primary technical/Functional expert on the JD Edwards system. Work closely with the Business Analysts and business leaders to promote the usage of JDE System to its full capacity. Understands future business needs as they relate to technical needs. Translate this need into a product strategy. Coordinates and communicates with virtual team resources, Project Managers, DBAs, Operations and Support. Determine if solution to user requests are software change, business process change and/or training need. Establish and maintain estimates and time tables for solution delivery. Resolution of technical application incidents/problems and assisting business analyst in resolution of application process issues. Critical Skills, Knowledge and Abilities 7 + years of IT experience , at least 2 + years of JDE 9, 8.x experience At least one prior JD Edwards XE to 9, 8.x upgrade experience Solid manufacturing and supply chain experience At least 3+ years of experience using of JD Edwards tools set to customize forms and reports Demonstrated functional experience in broad range of JDE modules including Finance, Distribution, Purchasing, and Manufacturing. Experience of writing complex SQL queries Demonstrated leadership/ownership of a JD Edwards environment Knowledge of ITIL process is a plus Knowledge of EDI is a plus Knowledge of BI/Data warehouse reporting for JDE is a plus Cognos knowledge is a plus
