High level Solutions Architect. Acxiom's new client Dun & Bradstreet has a Data Center in Berkely Heights, NJ. They are migrating everything to Conway, AR. The Solutions Architect needs to help with designing the project, define roles for current contractors such as network teams, DBA's, etc. The data center is 500 Sql Servers 2018. Requirements Leads implementation of Acxiom solutions in defined accounts. Ensures individualized solution, incorporates clients and Acxiom's overall business strategy and technical vision. Engages in all solution communications with client and engage in its progress throughout the implementation phase. Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for scoping and estimating future projects with the technical executives and business owners. Responsible for the implementation of Acxiom solutions with emphasis on solution design and business requirements. Ensures individualized solution requirements and design incorporates Acxiom and client's overall solution vision. Engages in project communications with client using a consultative approach. Anticipates obstacles and recommends solution options. Focuses on client values and satisfaction while balancing corporate objectives, feasibility and scalability of solutions. Assists with technical and business stakeholder requirements and overall project plan. Assists in the evaluation of cost, scope, portability, compatibility and usability. Aids in risk mitigation assessment. Ensures data solution design fulfills functional and technical requirements and can consistently meet progress against service level agreements (SLAs.) Accountable for the accuracy, process, integrity, quality and stewardship of client solutions. Monitors implementation initial progress in order to stay abreast of possible issues and future challenges. Maintains subject matter expertise in Acxiom and industry technologies, verticals and lines of business in order to help align client business needs to products, solutions and services offered. Documents and shares best practices and case studies. Define Acxiom solution standards, estimates, processes, policies and procedures. Utilizes standard methodologies to promote consistency and drives adherence to standards within designated teams. Familiar with other department's methodologies including project management and development methodologies. Identifies areas of process improvement that drive profit enhancement. Consults, advises and educates management, affected teams and clients through communications at the appropriate technical granularity. Shares best practices and incorporates lessons learned into estimates, standards and protocols. Provides feedback to the appropriate lines of business or product team to ensure Acxiom produces and/or enhances products that can meet the ever changing business needs of our clients. Keeps informed and evaluates the latest industry news, trends, products, services, competitors and relevant existing and emerging technologies. Requirements Proven ability to guide the design of large scale database systems. Hands on experience and extensive knowledge of at Oracle. Hands on experience with DFD's, physical and logical data models. Hands on experience with Analytics and reporting tools such as Cognos, Business Objects or Crystal Reports. Experience in developing requirements from clients and internal organizations. Ability to lead development resources and work with Project Managers to develop the project plan for delivery. Self motivated and quick learner.
