Data Management Tools Specialist

Description

The candidate will be responsible for development support for Enterprise Data Quality tools within Fannie Mae. This will include support for Business Objects Data Insight, Exeros Discovery and Validator products, ER/Studio, and the custom Business Objects reporting environment. Development activities must conform to standards in support of the SDLC. The Data Management Tools Specialist will work with the Enterprise Initiatives and Controls and Enterprise Metadata Management project teams to assure requirements are understood and implemented. Responsibilities Develop and implement custom code for Enterprise Data Management tools Act as SME for implementing enhancements in custom BO reporting environment Research and resolve report and data related issues Provide technical leadership by acting as an interface for all project stakeholders regarding technical issues Design all code solutions in alignment with Fannie Mae policies and procedures Qualifications Required 5 plus years of experience with Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, SQL, HTML, Windows 2000 Advance Server and Windows XP. Strong SQL and relational database (ORACLE) skills and experience. Experience developing VB .NET and Java applications Experience with developing Business Object Universes, Full Client, Designer and SDKs, WebIntelligence, and Reporter Experience in scheduling tools, specifically Autosys Experience with Data Quality applications Proficient in UNIX (SUN and AIX) and UNIX scripting Minimum of three (3) years experience in administering and supporting large scale production environments Strong technical understanding of business intelligence tools and demonstrated problem solving & troubleshooting skills are required Ability to integrate the Business Objects suite of applications with existing software applications Understanding of the software development environment and related processes Strong knowledge and adherence of development methodologies, standards and best practices NicetoHave Experience developing and deploying using Visual Studio Experience in developing enterprise dashboards Data Modeling especially using ER/Studio
