Key Responsibilities Understand user behavior and write scripts that reflect users usage of various products Review requirements, specifications and project plans Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts Provide test estimates for larger QA testing efforts Work with software developers to review and improve test plans and code design Coordinate testing for larger projects with a team of testers Be flexible and creative in handling multiple activities and contentions in priorities. Create automation scripts for all aspects of functional testing using FitNesse and/or TestNG and SeleniumRC Maintain load scripts for all aspects of performance testing using Silk Performer Create load scripts for all aspects of performance testing using JMeter Maintain automation scripts for all aspects of testing with Silk Test Create performance test scripts for both end to end testing and testing of specific components. Maintain performance scripts, collect usage logs, create appropriate scripts Provide analysis of performance tests and work with various groups to resolve issues Defect Tracking and defect maintenance, root cause analysis Continual process improvement Interface with Customer Support Center. Requirements BA or BS in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience 2+ years experience in system level QA Testing 2+ years experience in Java and/or J2EE development in an Agile environment 2+ years experience with Source Code Management like CVS or SubVersion 2+ years experience with Defect Management like Jira 2+ years experience with scripting /programming languages; preferably using FitNesse and/or TestNG and SeleniumRC to create, run and analyze tests A demonstrated working knowledge of Excellent communication skills, written and verbal Self motivated and takes initiative Work well with crossfunctional organizations Thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment Pay great attention to detail Demonstrated ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment Automated Test Design SeleniumRC Fitnesse and/or TestNG Web application testing and/or Web service testing Java & HTML Configuration Management Systems & build environments Unix/Linux Databases API testing, test harness creation Thorough understanding of the software development process and all aspects of quality assurance. Familiarity with SEI CMM and software process improvement Nice to have Knowledge of Continuous Integration like TeamCity, CruiseControl or Hudson Knowledge of Defect Management like Jira Experience in JavaDoc, J2EE, Oracle, Knowledge of RDBMS Experience in Segue Silk Automation Tools
