.Net/C# Developer

Description

The real keys to the job are strong SQL Server development skills and C#/ASP.NET Development skills.Phone interview immediately. Start next week. The requisite skill set (in order of importance) would be verbal and written communication, SQL 2000/2005 (stored procs, views, UDFs), C#.NET, ASP.NET. Experience with serviceoriented architecture would also be a plus.The position would primarily focus on developing new functionality and reporting for our client and vendor web portals. Responsibilities would include the following reading and understanding the documented business and functional requirementswriting a technical specification against the requirementsdeveloping the front end GUI as well as the supporting database changesunit testing code to ensure compliance with the requirements and acceptable performance/response timesensuring all code is up to date in our source control toolmerging code with other development projects when necessaryinterfacing heavily with the entire USM IT group on a daily basis (i.e. other developers, business analyst, quality assurance analyst, etc.)providing development estimates and communicating impact to tight deadlines where necessary
