Description
Senior level data center engineer with experience in latest hardware platforms, network technologies and storage technologies Candidate should have proven knowledge of hardware and OS administration (HP Blades), server virtualization (VMWare), networking (Cisco, HP Procurve), security, backups tools, capacity planning and SAN/NAS technologiesResponsibilities 10+ years proven experience in administration of Windows Server 2003/2018 and RedHat Enterprise Linux 64bit OS Proven experience in deployment, configuration and support of Wintel operating systems, IIS, MS SQL Server Experience with configuring and deploying storage leveraging McData directors, HDS enterprise arrays, and Sun storage technologies Experience with installing and supporting VMWare VSphere 4 Knowledge of interoperability in heterogeneous environment and system process automation Must be a team player with excellent oral and written communication skills. Additional desired experience. High availability technologies Storage (HDS, Sun) Database services (MS SQL Server 2005), Veritas NetBackup, LDAP, Nagios, Cacti Knowledge of multiple hardware platforms (HP, IBM, Sun)
