.NET Architect

Description

This position will involve building a complex user interface for a high performance desktop application with WPF. At least 1 year of solid experience working with WPF is required. A candidate with a small amount of experience spread over a long period is not suitable. The candidate must have a deep knowledge of WPF. At least 3 years of extensive experience with using the .NET framework to develop desktop applications is required. Experience with using .NET for web development is not relevant to this position. Strong knowledge of XAML is required. The candidate must be able to build a WPF UI using just XamlPad or Notepad. Solid knowledge of WPF databinding is required. The candidate should understand binding expressions, dependency properties, data context, data templates, and converters. Understanding of 2d graphics in WPF is required. The candidate should understand primitives (brushes, pens, point, rect, geometry). They should also understand drawing using path syntax and brushes, clipping and opacity masks, and animation. Understanding control templates, lookless controls, template binding, triggers, styles, and page resources is required. 1 year of experience with Expression Blend is required. Experience with XamlPad is required. The candidate should be able to work well in a team environment, be willing to share their knowledge with others and assist them when needed, and be receptive to diverse opinions. The candidate should possess strong verbal and written communication skills
