GENERAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Knowledge of Microsoft Operating platform Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes and methodologies Strong problem analysis and solving skills Strong Knowledge of testing technologies and Industry Best Practices Proven ability to design, construct, execute and validate Product Test Strategies, Integration, System and User Acceptance Test plans Understanding of Microsoft Solutions Framework and Microsoft Operations Framework a plus BS in Computer Science with a focus on system/software development and maintenance Knowledge of IIS, .NET is strongly desired Working knowledge of c#, asp.net is a plus RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for the coordination, creation, execution, and validation of test plans, scripts and test cases for Distributed applications. Responsible for the coordination, creation, execution, and validation of test plans, scripts and test cases for Distributed applications. Test plans, scripts and test cases are designed in accordance with business functional requirements and technical designs. Coordinates and monitors the progress of testing changes as assigned through the test environments to ensure thorough testing and progress to meet deadlines. Responsible for documenting software defects and assessing their impact and urgency. Also responsible for assessing any issues with testing or suggestions and working with management to make appropriate decisions.
