Description
Serve as the first line of support internally for any Informatica issues raised by the development teams Serve as day to day contact with Informatica Support for issue tracking and resolution for issues that can not be solved internally Provide performance tuning help for development teams including process optimization, cache tuning, etc Maintain a library of best practices in order to support knowledge sharing between Informatica architects and developers Manage Informatica software patching and upgrades Manage Informatica users and roles in order to enforce data security, while making sure all users have the necessary access to perform their tasks Interface with the support team order to schedule and monitor Informatica production jobs 4 year College degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business 5+ years experience building and managing Informatica solutions Solid knowledge of Informatica Software stack for version 8.6.1 including PowerCenter, Power Exchange and Data Explorer Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2003 in a VMware environment. Solid experience with Informatica performance tuning including cache tuning Experience with Informaticas push down technology Experience with enterprise scheduling software, preferably AutoMate Software Experience with relational databases preferably SQL Server and Oracle.
