Description
Essential Functions Provides business hours support for distributed computing operating systems and management tools. Works with business areas and other IT staff to troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner as described in IT and business area service level agreements. Evaluates and researches new information technologies and, when appropriate, recommend the implementation of new technologies to management. Provides consultation to local lines of business and assist them with information technology decisions and implementations. Works on project teams and provide technical leadership for simple and moderately complex projects. Participates on local project teams to develop or implement new information technology solutions. Creates and updates written documentation for the purposes of documenting compliance with Federal Reserve project and information security standards. As required, provides team leads with written status reports for projects and tasks. Provides training for IT technical staff and business users as required. Requirements 6+ years experience supporting and administering MS Windows Server operating systems (v2000 v2003). To include 2+ years technical project management experience. 2+ years experience writing technical documentation 2+ years experience training and mentoring junior team members Significant experience with BMC Performance Manager (aka, BMC Patrol). Significant experience with BMC Performance Assurance. Microsoft CSA or CSE preferred.
