Performance Architect

Description

Communicating and interacting with Developers, Configuration Managers, Quality Assurance Managers and Release Managers, the Performance Architect will analyze a complex, heterogeneous ntier environment in terms of hardware/software configuration, tools, and processes. The ideal candidate will have broadbased experience with the design, configuration and instrumentation of performance test environments distributed, mainframe, midrange and serviceoriented architecture (SOA). The Performance Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing improvements that will increase the reliability and speed of environment builds in support of performance testing initiativesMinimum requirements 10+ years of technical QA management experience, including responsibility for performance test environment5+ years of performance testing experience5+ years of technical management of test environments Familiarity with a broad range of Automated Build and Release/Configuration Management tools3+ years direct experience with SOA and Web ServicesStrong capabilities in facilitating the development of custom solutionsAbility to communicate with technical and nontechnical senior stakeholdersComputer science degree or equivalent technical experience
