Description

Primary help desk support Providing daytoday technical support services to employees for network infrastructure and internal desktop systems software and hardware. Troubleshooting, resolving or escalating desktop/laptop issues. Supporting Microsoft Outlook and other Microsoft Office applications. Responsible for maintaining passwords, data integrity, and file system security for the PC desktop environment, and recommending hardware and software solutions, including new acquisitions and upgrades that will improve the performance and reliability of the environment. Configuring voicemail and phones Collaborating with Human Resources for new employee onboarding. Required skills, knowledge, and experience 6+ years of IT Technical support experience. 4+ years experience with Microsoft Windows 2000 and Windows XP operating systems installation, configuration and support expertise. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong troubleshooting skills Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2017 applications Knowledge of Lotus Notes Knowledge and handson experience configuring and operating network access equipment including firewalls, VPN & RAS Knowledge of basic protocols, including HTML, DHCP, LDAP, DNS, TCP/IP,HTTP, SMTP Basic knowledge of routing and networking technologies Deploying applications and desktop engineering Some knowledge of Unix environment Professional service oriented attitude & collaborative work style Ability to multitask and manage tasks/projects simultaneously Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
